About the Journal

JITIPA (Jurnal Inovasi Tadris Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam) is a nationally recognized, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by the Department of Natural Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Education and Training, Yasni Islamic Institute, Bungo, Indonesia.
JITIPA implements a double-blind peer review process, where all submitted manuscripts are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers to ensure the quality, originality, relevance, and scientific contribution of each article.
This journal focuses on studies in the field of Natural Sciences Education (IPA) at the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels. JITIPA specifically emphasizes innovative, contextual, and values-based science learning, including research related to IPA Tadris, ethnoscience and local wisdom-based science education, the integration of Islamic values ​​in science learning, learning models and strategies, assessment and evaluation, scientific literacy, digital learning resources, and socio-scientific issues in physics, biology, chemistry, and integrated science education.

JITIPA publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and research and development (R&D) studies that contribute to the advancement of theory and practice in science education. The journal is published twice a year (May and November).
