AbstractThe phenomenon of digital collectibles in online games has become an important aspect of digital consumption, especially among teenagers. Digital collectibles refer to virtual items that can be purchased, collected, and traded in the world of online games. Along with the development of technology, these digital collections are increasingly becoming part of a lifestyle, which often leads toexcessive consumer behavior, especially among Muslim players. This article aims to analyze the phenomenon of digital collectiblesfrom a sharia economic perspective, focusing on the consumer behavior of Muslim players in online games. This study uses aqualitative approach with literature study methods and observations of digital consumption behavior among Muslim gamers. The results of the study indicate that although digital collectibles can provide emotional and social value, excessive spending can be considered israf according to sharia principles, especially when the purchase of virtual items does not provide significant realbenefits. Based on these findings, it is recommended to improve sharia economic literacy among Muslim gamers and develop in-game transaction guidelines that are in accordance with sharia principles to avoid excessive consumer behavior.
