el-Madib: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar Islam is a scientific journal that publishes research findings, conceptual studies, and best practices in the field of Islamic basic education, particularly at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Primary Education/Elementary Education) level. This journal is an academic open-access journal published twice a year; March and September. Managed by Department of Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) in collaboration with Perkumpulan Dosen Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah se-Indonesia (PD PGMI).
El-Madib implements a rigorous peer-review system through a blind review process to ensure the quality, objectivity, and integrity of every published article. Each manuscript is reviewed by experts in the fields of basic education and Islamic education before being declared eligible for publication.
The focus and uniqueness lie in the integration of general education and Islamic education at the MI level, covering curriculum development for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Primary Education/Elementary Education), innovative learning strategies, Islamic character education, literacy and numeracy development, learning evaluation, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Primary Education/Elementary Education) classroom management, and the use of technology in madrasah learning. The journal also pays special attention to local contexts and cultural wisdom in Islamic basic education.
El-Madib Featuring empirical research articles, literature reviews, and relevant conceptual ideas for the advancement of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Primary Education/Elementary Education). It is intended for lecturers, teachers, researchers, students, and education practitioners who are concerned with the development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Primary Education/Elementary Education).
