ALAYYA: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini was first published in Volume 1 Number 1 in 2021 as an academic journal dedicated to disseminating research findings and scholarly studies in the field of early childhood education. During its initial phase, the journal focused on strengthening national academic discourse and published articles exclusively in Bahasa Indonesia.

From Volume 1 Number 1 (2021) to Volume 5 Number 2 (2025), all articles published in ALAYYA were written and published in Bahasa Indonesia. This period marked a consolidation phase for the journal, emphasizing improvements in editorial management, publication quality, and the refinement of the journal’s focus and scope.

Beginning with Volume 6 Number 1 (2026), ALAYYA entered a new phase of internationalization by accepting and publishing manuscripts in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. This policy was introduced to enhance the journal’s international visibility, broaden its academic network, and promote cross-border scholarly exchange in the field of early childhood education.

This transition reflects ALAYYA’s commitment to continuous quality improvement, global engagement, and the advancement of research and practice in early childhood education.
