Aims and Scope

ALAYYA: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini is an international peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original research articles and review papers in the field of early childhood education. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge, research, and educational practice in early childhood education by providing a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, and academics to disseminate research findings and exchange ideas with the global academic community.

The journal aims to provide a scholarly forum for the discussion of issues and the exchange of information and ideas on research and practice in the field of early childhood education across diverse social and cultural contexts.

Alayya: Junal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini welcomes submissions from researchers, scientists and academics in the region and around the world on scope including:

  • Foundations of Early Childhood Education
    Educational philosophy, learning theories, historical and comparative perspectives, ethics, child rights, and sociocultural foundations of early childhood education.
  • Curriculum, Pedagogy, Technology, and Learning Innovation
    Curriculum design, teaching strategies, play-based learning, assessment, educational technology, digital learning, media use, and learning innovation in early childhood education.
  • Child Development and Learning
    Cognitive, social-emotional, language, physical development, learning processes, individual differences, inclusion, and developmental assessment.
  • Teachers, Professional Development, and Leadership
    Teacher education, professional competencies, reflective practice, leadership, school management, and workforce development in early childhood education.
  • Family, Parenting, and Community Engagement
    Parenting practices, family involvement, home-based learning, school–family partnerships, and community-based early childhood education.

Types of Published Articles

1. Research Articles

Research articles report original empirical or theoretical research findings in the field of early childhood education and related disciplines. A research article should clearly present the research objectives or questions, research design and methodology, results, and conclusions. The manuscript must also include a clear and concise discussion of the research findings, their implications, and their contributions to the relevant field of early childhood education.

Case studies are accepted. The total length of the manuscript, including references, must not exceed 10,000 words.

2. Review Articles

Review articles provide a comprehensive and critical review of existing literature on specific topics related to early childhood education. Review papers should analyze and synthesize previous studies, identify knowledge gaps, and propose directions for future research. The format and length of review articles are more flexible than research articles, with a typical length of up to 12,000 words, including references.

Alayya: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Usia Dini publishes academic issues according to the following schedule: This Journal published regularly in February and September. 


The journal has been accredited Sinta 5 based on Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi, Nomor 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025. Collaboration with Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal PAUD Indonesia
