Upaya Orang Tua dalam Menangani Keterlambatan Bicara Pada Anak Bawah Dua Tahun

Keterlambatan bicara pada anak bawah dua tahun dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan sosial, emosional, dan akademik di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya orang tua dalam mencegah keterlambatan bicara pada anak bawah dua tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 15 orang tua dari anak bawah dua tahun yang mengalami keterlambatan bicara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua melakukan berbagai upaya preventif, termasuk peningkatan stimulasi verbal di rumah, pembatasan penggunaan gadget, serta penciptaan lingkungan sosial yang mendukung melalui interaksi rutin dengan teman sebaya. Orang tua juga aktif berkonsultasi dengan profesional kesehatan, seperti dokter anak, psikolog dan terapis wicara, untuk mendapatkan panduan mengenai cara mendukung perkembangan bicara anak. Upaya-upaya ini terbukti efektif dalam mencegah keterlambatan bicara dan mendukung perkembangan komunikasi anak yang optimal. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peran aktif orang tua dalam memantau dan mendukung perkembangan bicara anak sejak dini, serta pentingnya intervensi dini dalam mencegah keterlambatan yang lebih serius.
